    We are thinking about visiting again in the summer and are trying to decide between June, July and August. Which month would be best for the crowds?

    Purely from a crowd perspective, the earlier or later you can visit in the summer, the better off you'll be. What you're trying to do is avoid times when the most children will be out of school. Nearly every school district in the US is off for all of July, so this is when the crowds are greatest. (The week surrounding July 4 is particularly packed.) Early in June, many schools in the Northeast are still in session, and late in August many school in the South have resumed classes, so these times are a bit less crowded at WDW.

    You'll find that the lowest crowds will likely be at the very end of August. You will also see some reduced rates on WDW hotel rooms for this time, as it is considered to be "value season." However, you will have very hot weather and a greater possibility of severe rain in August.
