Thinking of visisting Magic Kingdom. How long do we need to visit just the one theme park?

    Hi Melissa,

There are a variety of answers to this depending on the size of your group, their ages, and their stamina, but the short answer is, if you are visiting only the Magic Kingdom, I would allow two full days.

There is an independent website called touringplans.com that offers a test of sorts: the ultimate touring plan. The ultimate touring plan is a challenge to see how quickly someone can get through ALL the attractions at the Magic Kingdom. The record is about 14 hours to see/do it all. This is with minimal eating, minimal bathroom breaks, with experienced visitors speedwalking from attraction to attraction. For the normal visitor, I do NOT recommend this.

Instead, plan to take two days to see the park. Take a rest in the afternoons. Enjoy a nice lunch each day. Stop and smell the roses. You'll have a very enjoyable time this way.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
