We are thinking of a trip to WDW next spring 2016 during Easter. Do you know if Free Dining is offered or will be offered during Easter time?

    Hi Laura,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!! Free dining is such a perk for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, isn't it? It's usually offered during the slower times of year, and was just announced for this fall. Easter is one of the busiest times to visit the Walt Disney World Resort with many families taking their Spring Break vacations in sunny Florida to warm up after a cold winter up North. As a general rule, free dining is not offered during these times of year.

However, as a near-native of Florida, I've got to tell you that visiting during the times when free dining IS offered is worth it. The crowds are smaller, the temperatures are generally cooler and there's still so much fun stuff to see and do in all four theme parks (shameless plug here for my favorite fall event, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party).

Well, Laura, I hope this helps you decide on the timing for your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
