We are thinking about a trip and have a question about the Dining plan. We would stay at the resort for 7 nights/8days, but only spend 4 days in the parks so we wouldn't need the dining plan for the rest of the trip, is that possible?

    Hi Laura!

Congrats on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! When purchasing the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) you will receive one table service, one quick service and one snack per person, per night of your stay. The DDP is booked as part of the Magic Your Way package, which includes your park tickets and resort stay. Since this is part of the overall package, you cannot reduce the number of days that you have in your DDP. The DDP is tied to the total number of nights you are staying at the resort and not the total number of days you are spending in the park. The good news is that you don't have to use your credits on each specified day, meaning that you can bank your credits and use them on the days you are in the parks. You can also use the DDP at your resort, so even if you are not spending the day at the park, you may find it useful to use your DDP for meals and snacks at your resort.

I hope you have a magical stay at Walt Disney World!

    Magically,
    Stacy
