I am thinking of travelling to WDW in September and my son will be almost 1yr. I will be travelling with my mother and grandmother. They think it might be a little much with a 1yr old. Any suggestions on ways to make things easier?

Hi, Colby!  I always told my family and friends who worried that my kids were too young that it was much easier to take them young, when they were portable, didn't want to stop at every souvenir stand, and were happy to let me choose the restaurants!

I always brought my own stroller with the girls.   That made it so that I did not have to carry them or their stuff from the parking lot to the room - especially if they had fallen asleep.  Keep kid friendly snacks with you, so that if you are waiting in line for something and he gets a bit antsy, you'll be able to distract him.  I used to keep a small thing of blowing bubbles in my bag for that reason as well.

They sell clip on fans that you can attach to your stroller, and they were a lifesaver for my kids.  It allowed them to sit comfortably in their stroller, and nap time was quite pleasant for them in there, which allowed us to skip going back to the hotel for naps.

Take a few extra diapers - more than you think you might need; a change of clothes or two for the baby; and at least a clean top for yourself.  I've spent a few hours over the course of my 17 mom years trying to scrub stuff out of my shirt in the ladies room after baby related incidents.

And if you have your mom and grandmom with you, it seems like you will have a team of qualified professionals that should be able to get you through most anything!  I think you'll have a wonderful time and create many magical memories!
