Thinking about traveling to Disney World the first weekend in May this year. I have an 8 year old daughter & a 4 year old son. We will also have a new baby by then who will be about 2-3 months old. Any thoughts or advice on traveling with an infant?

    Hi Sabrina,
I'm a local with Annual Passes that has traveled extensively with infants and small children. How exciting to be bringing your family to the Walt Disney World Resort! My first bit of advice is to look over the park maps and locate the Baby Care Center in each park. They are a wonderful, peaceful space where you can change, feed and relax with your little one and there's additional space where older kids can hang out and watch a little TV or have a snack. Should you realize you have forgotten something, they are fully stocked with all sorts of essentials that you can purchase, such as formula, diapers, wipes, sunscreen and over-the-counter medications just to name a few items.

I would also recommend taking advantage of the Rider Switch service. It allows you and the other adults in your party to trade off keeping an eye on little ones so you don't have to miss out on select attractions.

Please come back and visit the Moms Panel if you have any additional questions. I hope you and your family have a wonderful vacation!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
