Thinking about taking our 5 yo to MK in May. We also have a nine month old. Saw posts about carrying infants onto rides w/out height restrictions. Wanted to make sure that the infant will be allowed those rides. Will he have to sit in seat or ride in lap?

    Hi Alice,

You are correct that infants can enjoy any ride at Walt Disney World that has no height requirement. The choice of where your baby sits on these rides is up to you. In most cases a small child would be most comfortable on mom or dad's lap. This would allow the baby a better view of the scenery and would keep him or her safe from possibly crawling out of the vehicle, but if you prefer placing the child on the seat next to you, that works too.

I brought my twins to Walt Disney World when they were 10 months old. They sat on our laps at dozens of attractions, including Small World, Buzz Lightyear, Jungle Cruise, Dumbo, WDW Railroad, Peter Pan, Pirates of the Caribbean, Kilimanjaro Safari, Living with the Land, Spaceship Earth, and so much more. And don't forget that your baby may also enjoy the parades, character greetings, shows and other activities at Walt Disney World.

Have a great vacation and please let us know if you have additional questions.
