We are thinking about taking our family of 21 (10 adults and 11 children, ages 18 mon. to 16 yrs) on a disney cruise. 1. Has anyone done a cruise to the Bahamas in November? What is the weather like? 2. Is it difficult to cruise with children 2 and und

Welcome aboard, Nancy! Disney Cruise Line is the premier cruise line for families of all ages, so you're sure to have one very special vacation!

My family and I have cruised in November for the past three years. We love leaving behind the chilly Ohio weather (I see you're from Ohio too, so you know what I mean), and heading south for the warm waters of the Bahamas at that time of year. The waters are still warm, the islands feel summer-like, and even at sea, you'll enjoy warm weather! Of course, we still pack light jackets or sweaters for those cool nights at sea out on deck (and honestly, even for cool temperatures in the restaurants and theaters), but besides that, summer attire is the go-to clothing! The Bahamas tend to have average highs in the low 80's and lows in the upper 70's, so I promise you'll enjoy a warm November getaway!

Disney Cruise Line makes it extremely easy and really fun to cruise with kids, no matter their ages. There are Youth Clubs for kids up through 17 years old, and these (with the exception of the nursery for kids under 3) are included in the cost of your cruise. What a perk! Since there are tons of events and activities going on all day and night, the kids will have a blast in their clubs while the adults get to sneak away for adult fun in the after hours district, or have an amazing meal in the adult exclusive restaurants that are available. There are endless events for the whole family together too!

If Mom and Dad want some alone time, the nursery is a fabulous place for the under three set who play with amazing counselors and even get visits with their favorite Disney friends. Disney offers Pack n' Plays in staterooms, along with Diaper Genies and strollers to borrow, so it really becomes as easy as possible to sail with the toddlers and babies.

Have fun planning your cruise, Nancy!
