    I am thinking of staying at the Wilderness Lodge in Nov 12. I love using the boats to get around. I know they have boat launches to Contemporary and MK. How practical is it vs the bus? How long are the boat rides to get to each place vs bus time?

    Hi Kristy! I'm so with you on this one! Although Disney's bus transportation is great, I love using the boats whenever I can! The boat from the Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom takes about 13 minutes, and it just such a lovely ride! That's just a few minutes longer than the bus, which is totally worth it in my eyes. The boat ride to the Contemporary will take about 20 minutes, which is about the same or even quicker than bus, as you would have to transfer to the monorail at the Magic Kingdom.
