Hi, we are thinking about staying in a WDW hotel on our first night so we can have early entry to Epcot in the morning. After that we will stay with friends for the remainder of our trip. Can we link the hotel in MyDisneyExperience for just the one night?

Hi Carol! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

Your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation isn't that far away anymore! I bet you and your party are getting ready to start counting down the days until you're "wheels up" and on your way! There is always so much to see and do around the Resort, but there's definitely a special type of magic around every corner during the holidays.  Make sure to stop by Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to check out the giant Gingerbread House in the lobby and even grab a sweet gingerbread treat to take home!

I will always agree that staying on property at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel is the very BEST option when visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth.  You simply can't beat the incredible theming, service, dining options, and locations, plus you get to enter each and every Theme Park 30 minutes early each day with Early Theme Park Entry.  Now that is one incredible benefit!

You are certainly welcome to book a stay for one night in any of the more than 25 Disney Resorts.  If you already have a My Disney Experience account you can link your Resort reservation by hovering over the "My Disney Experience" tab on the Walt Disney World Resort website. Scroll down to "My Plans" and click "Resort Hotel" under your "Plans and Tickets".  From here, just click "Link a Reservation" and enter your confirmation number and the last name on your reservation to finish up!

Waking up under the shadow of your favorite Theme Parks is just another perk of staying at a Disney Resort.  If you're looking to spend your Early Theme Park Entry time in EPCOT you may want to think about booking a Guest room at a nearby Resort, such as those within walking distance like Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's BoardWalk Inn or a Resort that's just a quick Disney Skyliner ride away like Disney's Riviera Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. By staying at one of these Resorts you'll enter the Park through the International Gateway, right in World Showcase.

Have a holly, jolly visit, Carol!

As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
