We're thinking of staying at the Pop Century this year But one of my sisters is diabetic and needs a fridge... while me and my younger sister prefer a microwave. It's only preferred because we are often up late. Is there a way to request one?

Hey, Ashley! Disney's Pop Century Resort is such a fun place to stay and is one of my favorite resorts to hang out in with my kids. We love to take crazy pictures with the larger-than-life characters and icons positioned around this resort. If you get a chance, hop on the walking trail that weaves through the resort. You will find lots of posted trivia along the trail, themed to the time periods represented in that section. The trivia subjects bring out some really cool memories of things that happened as we grew up.

I am happy to let you know that all rooms at Disney's Pop Century Resort will be equipped with a small fridge, similar to a dorm-style fridge. There should be plenty of room for basic food and diabetic supplies that need to be kept handy. However, microwaves are not available in the rooms at this resort. You are welcome to use the ones in Everything Pop food court, which is located in Classic Hall. You can access this area daily from 6:00 a.m. to midnight. If you really prefer to have both a microwave and fridge, take a look at the Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, located just across Hourglass Lake from Disney's Pop Century Resort. These rooms have a small kitchen, separate bedroom, two bathrooms, and are a good bit larger than the standard rooms.

I hope you have a magical stay at Walt Disney World Resort with your sisters, Ashley! Please let us know if you have any further questions as you continue to plan your visit.
