Hola, Judy! There's been lots of attention focused on
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort recently due to it's newest addition, Gran Destino Tower, which opened to great fanfare this month! The tower gets its name from the animated film Destino, a collaboration between Walt Disney and famed Spanish artist Salvador Dali. I couldn't wait to book a stay here for my 20th wedding anniversary later this year- who needs china and platinum when you can have dazzling fireworks views?
From what I've been told, Guests staying at Gran Destino Tower will share the same Park buses as Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Currently, there are four stops for the entire resort, with Gran Destino's located conveniently right outside the front doors. The tower is the last bus stop pickup in the morning, and it is also the final drop off coming back. Here's a handy tip: Use the
My Disney Experience mobile app for bus times and estimated Park destination arrival times. Simply tap 'Resort Reservation' from the app dashboard and then 'See Bus Times.'
I'd highly recommend getting a reservation at
Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood during your stay, Judy. This restaurant features sweeping views from the rooftop, and I've heard the tapas are delicious. I can't wait to try the Pan con Tomate with a little Sangría myself!
