I am thinking of staying at the Drury. The long walk into the parks from where the bus drops you off has me concerned. In terms of less walking would it be worth it to go to th Ttc then rake disney transportation inorder to be closer to yhe parks entrance?

Welcome to planDisney, Ryan! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. Transportation is a really important aspect of your trip to Walt Disney World so it's a great idea to do a bit of advanced planning before you go. I'm happy to walk you through some of the final details so you can make an informed decision about where you want to stay!

Off-site hotels that operate shuttles to Magic Kingdom have their drop-off and pick-up locations at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). If you decide to stay at the Drury Plaza, they don't drop you off in a location that requires you to walk to the park, the shuttle will drop you off at the TTC and then you will take either the monorail or ferry boat to the front gates of Magic Kingdom. If it helps you decide where you want to stay, you should know that guests staying at a Disney Resort Hotel have access to transportation that drops them off right in front of Magic Kingdom, bypassing the TTC altogether.

At the other theme parks, shuttles operating from offsite hotels and resorts have their pick-up and drop-off locations in the parking lots, and while they are further away from the gates than the Disney transportation, it's not that long of a walk to start and end your day.

I hope this answers your question, Ryan, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
