Hi there, Kathryn, and welcome to planDisney! I am so happy you've stopped by with this awesome question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit. You'll be arriving so soon, and you must be so excited!
Kathryn, you'll be happy to know that you're welcome to take advantage of the complimentary bus, Monorail,
Skyliner, and boat transportation during your time at Walt Disney World Resort. If you're going from EPCOT to
Magic Kingdom, you'll be able to take the
Monorail. The Monorail from
EPCOT will take you to the Transportation and Ticket Center, so you'll exit the Monorail there. You can either hop on the Express Monorail to take you to the entrance of Magic Kingdom or you can catch a ride on the boat. Each offers a fun and scenic ride!
Anytime I travel from one park to another, I plan for it to take about an hour by the time I walk out of the exit, make the journey, go through security, and tap in at the next park. If you're hoping for an option that's a bit more streamlined, you might consider a
Minnie Van. This ride-share service isn't one of the complimentary transportation options, but it's convenient and will take you to the very front of Magic Kingdom. Other ride-share services are only allowed to take you to the Transportation and Ticket Center.
Don't forget about
bus transportation! Depending on where you'd like to go when you return to EPCOT, you might consider taking a bus from Magic Kingdom to
Disney's Beach Club Resort. You could then walk to the back entrance of EPCOT - the International Gateway - which would put you right next to the France pavilion in the World Showcase.
Kathryn, it sounds like you're going to have a fun day of park hopping during your time at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See you real soon!
Jennifer
