Hi we are thinking of staying at Disney Yacht or Beach club in a 2 queen bed room with a day bed. Can anyone tell me the exact size of the day bed opened out as it will have to sleep a tall slim teenager.?

Ahoy, Jane! Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts are my husband's favorite places to stay at Walt Disney World Resort. We always have a splashtastic vacation when staying there, as we spend several days out of the parks and in their shared feature pool, Stormalong Bay.

Thankfully, you can rely on finding comfy bedding options in the standard Resort rooms after spending all day zooming down the Flying Jib shipwreck slide, building sandcastles and floating on the lazy river. Disney's Beach Club Resort is undergoing enhancements until Fall 2015, and the daybeds are being replaced during this period. The new daybeds fold out with a mattress measuring 72" long by 32" wide and are 4" thick. The current daybeds at Disney's Yacht Club Resort are of a classic daybed style with removable throw pillows providing back support and cushioning. The mattress on these daybeds measure 72" long by 30" wide and are 6" thick.

I hope either of these bedding options will work for your teenager because I am sure the pool there will definitely work well for your family! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and be sure to swim by again if you think of any other questions before your trip.
