    Hello. Thinking of staying at AK lodge in Feb 2014. Going with 2 boys 8 and 10. Can you rec a building or area to stay at w/ close proximity to pools, main area for less walking, and great vews. Thank you!

    Hi, David!  As you may know, Animal Kingdom Lodge is quite a large resort, and there can be quite a bit of walking, even just going down the hallway to your room from the main lobby.  If I am going to request a room, I usually ask for the Arusha savanna view area.  You'll find that the pool and the restaurant are most convenient to that location.

    If you ask for Zebra trail, that puts you closest to the action, right on the Arusha savanna.  I love waking up to see the animals in the morning, and I find it to be a much easier walk to most of the things you might need to get to while staying at this resort.
