Thinking of splitting our trip: 3nights at Coronado Spring, 4nights at Contemporary. Is it a hassle to change hotels midtrip? Do I have to move luggage from 1st hotel to the other? Can I check out, go to MK 4 the day, then go directly to Contemp 2 check in

Hi Gayle! I love the resorts at Disney World so much that my family often splits our stays between them so we can experience more than one per vacation. Personally, I think the benefits outweigh the hassle of having to pack up your things mid-trip to change hotels. My family likes to experience different resorts and be close to different parks, and moving around gives us the opportunity to do that. Also, since some resorts are more expensive than others, dividing a stay between a higher- and a lower-priced resort helps cut costs. When my family has split our stays, Disney has always taken care of transferring our luggage for us. When you check out of your first resort, just ask Bell Services there to transfer your luggage to your new resort. Enjoy the parks that day, and then, when you check into your new resort that afternoon, just call Bell Services, and they'll bring your luggage up to your room. It can take several hours for your bags to arrive at the new resort so be sure to take anything you may need that day with you.

Have a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
