I am thinking about purchasing the Silver AP for my family. If we decided we wanted to upgrade to the Gold for the summer, can we downgrade later on back to the Silver? Or can you only upgrade?

    Hi Heather!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask a question about the wonderful Annual Pass options for Florida Residents.   My in laws are Florida residents and love visiting Walt Disney World every chance they get with their Annual Passes.  I am happy to answer your question today.

If you purchase the Silver Annual Pass you could upgrade it to Gold during the year,  please keep in mind their is no prorating so you would pay the whole difference in cost from the Silver Pass to Gold Pass at the time of upgrade.  If you plan on upgrading mid year you would be better off just purchasing the Gold Annual Pass at the original time of purchase.   Once you upgrade you can not downgrade or go back to a cheaper ticket.

I hope this has helped to answer your question.  Please let me know if I can answer anything else for you.   It's always a pleasure to lend a helping hand to a fellow Guest.
