I was thinking about purchasing a lanyard. Is there a pouch that the Key to the World fits in and should everyone have their own or would they all fit into mine? (2 Adult, 2 Kids). Your site in so valuable, I could not plan this vacation without it.

Pin lanyards are fairly inexpensive, usually in the $6 to $12 range (prices can change) depending on the exact model you choose. The less expensive lanyards do not come with the clear plastic pouch on the end, many of the more expensive ones do.  The plastic pouches can also be purchased separately and can be added to almost any lanyard. You could even buy the pouches at home at a general office supply store such as Staples and attach them to the lanyards when you get to WDW.

When I have used a lanyard pouch, I have generally been able to fit 3 to 4 park tickets or cards into the pouch. My kids all have lanyards for pin trading, but I personally will not allow them to carry their own park tickets or room keys. Your kids may be older or you may have a different comfort level with potential loss than I do. Really, every family has their own system. Many choose lanyards around the neck to hold their tickets, but plenty of other people just keep their tickets in their wallets. The choice is up to you.
