Hi, I am thinking about purchasing an annual pass for my son. I am a DVC member and he is in the same household. Will he be able to activate it himself at the window or Guest Services, I saw somewhere you need a DVC member card to pick up your pass?

    Hey there, Wendy!

Disney Vacation Club members certainly have a lot to look forward to in terms of member benefits and perks. It makes being a member even more incredible.

DVC members are eligible to purchase a discounted annual pass for the DVC member and members of their same household. If you are not at the theme parks in person to purchase the pass, you can purchase on the phone or online, however, when you pick up the pass, the DVC member must appear at the guest services location with their DVC membership card and government issued identification (such as a drivers license). All adults for whom a pass has been purchased must also have photo identification showing their address is the same as the member's address.

You can still purchase him a non-discounted Walt Disney World annual pass if you want. That he can pick up with just his own identification.

Thank you for your question, Wendy!
