Hiya, Rita! Thanks for taking the time to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mickey and I are so excited that you are considering becoming a member of the Walt Disney World
Passholder family! Even though I live in Pennsylvania, I get plenty of use out of "Mickey's Golden Ticket!" When you factor in the perks, including unlimited
PhotoPass downloads, it makes my decision a no-brainer!
When you
buy your Annual Pass online and link it to your
My Disney Experience account (it may link automatically), you will notice it has an expiration date. My Prince Charming gifted me with a new pass for Christmas, and my account says it needs to be used by December 31, 2030. Your yEAR of Annual Pass fun doesn't start, however, until your pass is
activated. You can do this at any Walt Disney World theme park window (or at the
Disney Springs Ticket Center), and make sure you have your confirmation email and a valid photo ID with you. The Cast Member will hand you a plastic yellow Passholder card that you'll want to carry with you at all times to receive your exclusive dining and merchandise discounts. Once your pass is activated, the expiration date on your My Disney Experience account will update. Mickey gives you a bonus day to enjoy, so your Annual Pass will be valid for 366 days from activation!
I hope you have a magical trip, Rita! See ya' real soon!
