    We were thinking of planning a vacation over the christmas holiday. Can anyone tell me what the weather is like in Florida over christmas? Will the children be able to go swimming? How is the Mickey Mouse Very Merry Christmas Party?

    Hey Kerry!  What a wonderful time of year to head to WDW.  I was actually there last year in December and I have to tell you the weather was different every day.  The first day it was really warm (shorts weather and probably warm enough for the pool).  The rest of the trip I wore jeans and even a jacket at night, I was told it was actually unseasonably cold but that just goes to show you, you never know.
    The actual average temperatures for that time of year is 53 for a low and 73 for a high.
    I would pack a couple of shorts but probably more jeans, capris and definitely sweatshirts or jackets for the cooler evenings.
    And the Mickey Christmas party .... AWESOME!  I highly recommend purchasing a ticket for that special event, it's worth every penny.  Make sure you grab a seat early for the special Christmas parade, it was so much fun.
