We are thinking of planning our first vaction to WDW for the first week of August. I'm concerned that my daughter who is four is going to get too hot and not want to stand in the long lines. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi Somer,

I love Disney in August but it can be hot.  I would purchase a cool mister to keep your princess from sweating.  They are easily found in most stores and can make the difference in waiting on lines.  I would also make sure to have water handy.  We also take advantage of many of the shows which are indoors and have air conditioning.  I personally think Disney does a good job of keeping you cool.

Are you flexible with your dates?  If so, Disney just announced free dining for stays during August 24 through September 20 but you must book a Disney hotel by June 22.

    Stay cool!
