We are thinking about going to MVMCP this year and our son will be 2 when we start our vacation but will be 3 for the party. I am worried that he wont be able to stay up that late for the party and dont want to waste a ticket. HELP!

    Dear Stephanie,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a super magical way to spend an evening, so I totally understand why you would want to participate in that! Every family is so different, so it's hard to say what would work best for you, but for my family, it wouldn't be worth it because my kids just can't stay up late enough to justify it. That may be the same for your son also.

Are you staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel? Have you considered In-Room Babysitting for that evening? That's a great option for families or couples who might want to stay out late while their little one is sleeping peacefully, monitored by a vetted babysitter.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
