Hi, we are thinking of going to Mickey Not So Scary Halloween Party on Oct 11th. Do we have to buy a separate park ticket to Magic Kingdom too? Please advise. Thank you.

    Hi Maimunah!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Walt Disney World vacation is right around the corner. How exciting!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my favorite Special Event to attend when visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth!" At this frightfully fun event, you'll be able to enjoy unique entertainment options such as Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade, The Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet, Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, and Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular.

Great news! You will not need to purchase a regular Magic Kingdom Park Base Ticket in addition to your Special Event ticket unless you are trying to spend the entire day at the park. Although the party does not officially begin until 7:00 p.m., Guests have historically been allowed to enter Magic Kingdom Park beginning at 4:00 p.m. with their Special Event ticket. When my family has previously attended this "not-so-scary" event, we enjoyed a relaxing day at our Disney Resort hotel prior to the party so that we could last until midnight. We have always arrived at the iconic park right at 4:00 p.m. with just our Special Event tickets and have never encountered any issues when doing so.

I hope this information is helpful in making your decision. Please stop by again with any additional questions. It would be our "treat" to assist you further in planning a spooktacular trip!
