I was thinking of making ADR for Crystal Palace. I love the idea of taking photos of the castle before the park opens. This is my main reason for eating there. Is it worth the $ to get get good photos if were not that bothered about the restaurant? Thanks

    Danielle,

    That is a challenging question!

Like you, we love to get in to the Magic Kingdom early at least once per trip to get that keepsake photo. A crowd free photo is a nice memento.

But we are not necessarily huge Crystal Palace fans. The food is fine, but my girls are not real Winnie the Pooh fans anymore. The real question is would a table service meal been in your day's schedule?

BOTTOM LINE: After consulting with my boss (r.e. wife), we would say no. There are plenty of places where you can get your picture taken where people in the background are minimized, so you should be able to still get that great photo without having to pay $25 a person. Try getting photos on the bridge from the central hub to Tomorrowland, or just outside of Crystal Palace.

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
