'Tis the Season, Jessica!
I'm so thrilled to welcome you to the most MERRIEST panel on Earth...planDisney! How exciting that you're planning to celebrate the
holiday season at Walt Disney World. There's something extra special about being there this time of the year. It's honestly one of my favorite times to visit. The decorations are breathtaking...from the giant Christmas tree on Main Street, U.S.A. to the stunning resort lobbies filled with garlands, wreaths, and gingerbread displays. Christmas and Disney are two of my favorite things, and when they come together, it's pure joy!
In the days leading up to Christmas, Magic Kingdom Guests usually get an extra sprinkle of holiday magic with Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade during the daytime and Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks in the evening. While details for the 2025 holiday season haven't been released yet, I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and their official
Instagram page, as those are usually the first places where announcements are made.
Now, when it comes to the
Starlight nighttime parade, the schedule for that December date hasn't been released yet. But since
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party wraps up on December 21st, I'd expect that Starlight will take place on December 22nd. Definitely keep checking the
Hours and Events Calendar as your trip gets closer so you'll have the most up-to-date information and can plan accordingly.
Jessica, I hope this is helpful as you continue planning your jolly holiday! If any other questions pop up, you're always welcome here at planDisney!
Merry Wishes,
Kami
