Thinking of getting annual pass we live in Pennsylvania hearing about blackout dates if staying on property how would I know when these are. Do not want to purchase and get there and find blacked out?

    Hi Sheryle,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're so glad that you brought us another great question, and I'm really excited to hear that you're considering purchasing an Annual Pass. Not only will you love being able to visit "The Most Magical Place on Earth" whenever you'd like, but you'll also be able to take advantage of some fantastic perks and discounts!

I agree with you. It would not feel very magical to arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort and find out that your Annual Passes are not valid during your visit! I'm happy to let you know that the two types of Annual Passes available to everyone, the Disney Platinum Pass and the Disney Platinum Plus Pass do not have any blockout dates, so if you purchase one of those, you'll be able to visit the theme parks every single day of the year if you'd like! There are additional Annual Pass types offered for Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club members, and those passes do have some blockout dates. Here's a calendar that will show you any blockout dates for each type of Annual Pass available.

I hope this helps as you consider what is best for you and your family, Sheryle, and please let us know if we can help with anything else. If you do decide to join the Annual Passholder family, I hope that you enjoy an entire year full of magic as you celebrate traditions and make new memories with your Annual Pass!
