I was thinking that the Friendship boats in Epcot would be a good place for my 4 year old to rest her feet and maybe take a nap. How long is the boat ride is across the lake in World Showcase? Can we stay on the boat for a round trip (or longer)?

    Hi Leah,

Epcot is a huge park with a lot of walking because it is two parks in one. This is one park you want to visit on fresh legs because of all of the walking. You may want to consider a stroller for your daughter at least for this park.

The Friendship Boats take about 10-15 minutes to cross from one side of World Showcase to another. This is a good way to take a break in air conditioning. You should be able to stay on the boat for a return.

Another option is to take the Friendship Boats that go from Epcot to Disney's Hollywood Studios. This is a much longer ride and you can stay on as long as your daughter is sleeping. You simply exit through the International Gateway between France and the United Kingdom.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
