We are thinking about a family vacation next year at Disney world. If we book a campsite can we have a pop up camper behind our truck camper? Our truck camper is a little tight for 3 people.

Hi there, Andra! Welcome to the wonderful world of planDisney! We are so excited that you’ve decided to reach out and allow us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort are the perfect mix of the beauty of the great outdoors while being just minutes away from the Magic Kingdom! This rustic resort is surrounded by over 750 acres of pine and cypress forest and home to a variety of critters including ducks, rabbits, deer, and armadillos. There’s also a vast array of entertainment that the whole family will love such as themed pool areas, archery experiences, fishing, bike rentals, and so much more!

If your adventures work up an appetite, you and your family have many different options for rustling up some grub as well! If you are in need of a quick bite, you can either grab some camping classics at The Chuck Wagon or some more varied options at P & J’s Southern Takeout. If a table service dining location is more your speed, you can find your way to Trail’s End Restaurant for a sit-down, all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet meal that will fill-up the emptiest tummies!

The ability to accommodate both your truck camper and a pop-up camper entirely depends on the type of campsite you reserve, actually! There are multiple types of campsites available and each one has the ability to accommodate different types of camping equipment. For example, the “Tent or Pop-Up Campsite” has the ability to accommodate up to 10 feet by 25 feet on its concrete pad while the largest “Premium Campsite” is able to accommodate up to 18 feet by 60 feet on its concrete pad. So, I would highly recommend identifying how large your camper truck and pop-up camper are together and seeing if there is a campsite available that will be able to fit both.

Best of luck continuing to plan for your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you along the way!
