Welcome aboard, Douglas! Cruising with Disney is fun any time of the year, but there is even more magic in store when you set sail around the holidays! And Halloween is no exception!
From September 20th's sailing through October 25th's sailing, the Fantasy will be decorated with spooky delights for
Halloween on the High Seas. If you've enjoyed Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom, you'll really enjoy the Halloween festivities onboard the Fantasy this year too!
My son is almost six and he's very into the fun spooky stuff on Halloween, so I can imagine your six-year old little guy will have a blast this time of year too! Don't miss Mickey's Mouse-querade Party, which is like a huge costume party, complete with trick-or-treating, games, a dance party and the Disney characters in their Halloween costumes. You absolutely must bring your son's costume so he can have fun at this party and get his photo taken with his favorite Disney friends in their costumes!
If he likes The Nightmare Before Christmas movie, he'll want to be sure to go to the Scream and Sing version of this film onboard. Audience members participate and then afterwards get to meet Jack Skellington and Sally!
Mom and Dad aren't left out of the fun, because there is even an adult costume contest if you bring your Halloween attire! Plus, there are Halloween movies on Funnel Vision by the pools, haunted storytelling times and other spooky fun in the Youth Clubs.
I hope that gets your son even more excited about this cruise, Douglas! Have fun planning and let me know if I can help with anything else before you set sail this fall!
