I am thinking of doing an impromptu trip to WDW for the leap year celebration. I see that MK is opening 6am and staying open 24 hours to 6 am Mar. 1st. Is the other parks doing the same (HS, Epcot) and will there be any special shows or features?

    Hi Mendi,

You're referring to the special leap year event called One More Disney Day. As part of this celebration, the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California will be open for 24 hours, through the entire leap day. The other theme parks will be open during regular park hours, not overnight.

Unfortunately, there hasn't been much in the way of details about exactly what will be going on at the Magic Kingdom during the night. My guess is that there will be some sort special entertainment, but nothing specific has been announced as of yet.

Keep checking back. I hope that we'll have more details soon.
