Hi there, I am thinking of going to DL in Oct. I've been to WDW 8x's & am nervous that I will not like it as much! I am looking at going the week of 10/5-10/10. Taking DD's 8&9. Will 3 or 4 days be ok? When does DL put vacation discounts for fall

    Aloha Skye,

I'm thrilled to hEAR you have the Disney obsession like so many of us. You are going to Walt's original theme park so the history and magic, in and of itself, is something to take in.

First trips to The Happiest Place on Earth are the best. Be sure to stop by Guest Services and get your family free First Visit buttons to wear during your trip; Cast Members that see the buttons in the parks will be sure to send warm wishes throughout the day.

I recommend stopping by City Hall on Main Street U.S.A. to ask about special tours like "Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps" Guided Tour. I would make it a 4-Day vacation to the Disneyland Resort so your family can enjoy all the resort has to offer.

Newly refurbished attractions and magic you won't want to miss are Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough, all of Disney California Adventure (specifically: The Little Mermaid - Ariel's Undersea Adventure, Radiator Springs Racers, all of Carsland, Goofy's Sky School, and California Screamin'), to name a few.

Attractions like The Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan's Flight, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Splash Mountain, and Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters are slightly different and worth seeing the uniqueness in my opinion.

I recommend the World of Color Dining Package at Carthay Circle. It's a great option to experience a one-of-a-kind restaurant and then have a reserved area for a must-see show.

Fall specials aren't announced yet, last year they were announced around July, this is subject to change each year.

I hope this helps and that you have a pixie-dusted time. If you have any more questions, please visit us here and let us know how we can help you plan your magical vacation.

    Wishing you Magic!
