We are thinking about going to DIsney World this year and we have a 5 and 2 year old. I wanted to know if it is worth going this year since I have a 2 year old or if we should wait? I didn't know if there was alot of things that he could do.

Hi, Michelle!  You might be surprised to find out just how much there is for a two year old to do - nearly as much as there is for your five year old to do!  Many of the attractions are family friendly, and while there are exceptions for some of the rides with height restrictions, you will find a good many things you can all do together.  At the Magic Kingdom, Buzz Lightyear, the carrousel, Haunted Mansion, It's a Small World, and Pirates of the Caribbean are just a few of the attractions my girls have loved since they were very small.  EPCOT has a fascinating boat ride through the Land, Turtle Talk with Crush, and some great things at Innoventions for little ones.

You'll find many of the attractions at Disney's Hollywood Studios appeal to all ages, including Toy Story Midway Mania and Voyage of the Little Mermaid.  And just for the preschool set, you can head on over to see Playhouse Disney Live, a stage show featuring some of your preschooler's favorite characters.

Disney's Animal Kingdom is an exciting lesson in conservation, with a train ride to Rafiki's Planet Watch; and this is a great place to see animals up close in a very natural habitat.

And we haven't even touched on the parades and the fireworks!

I think two is a great age to visit the theme parks at Walt Disney World.  My theory has been the younger I start them, the longer I get to enjoy the parks with them!

    Have a great vacation!
