W are thinking of going to Disney World over Easter week. Are there any Easter Egg Hunts or other special celebrations?

    Hi Stephanie!

Easter week is quite a busy time at Walt Disney World.  Many of the schools throughout the US are on vacation during this time period, and so there are higher levels of attendance and increased wait times.

There are a number of special activities available at Walt Disney World during Easter. There is a meet and greet for Mr and Mrs Bunny in City Hall in Magic Kingdom. There is an Easter egg hunt held in Epcot's United Kingdom pavilion, with a second egg hunt which occurs at Innoventions. There is a smaller Easter themed parade held prior to the regular afternoon parade in Magic Kingdom on Easter Sunday.

Many of the resorts hold "Candy Scrambles" and other additional Easter activities such as coloring eggs, easter egg hunt, bunny toss, etc. You can find more information on these events by checking out the Times Guide when you arrive at the resort.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
