We are thinking of going to Disney the week of Thanksgiving. How crowded is it? I have heard different opinions. This is the only time we haven't visited. Thanks.

    Hi Michelle,

While I have never been at Walt Disney World at Thanksgiving, it does start the Christmas holiday season at the most magical place in the world!

Because of this and that the children are out of school, it tends to be more crowded than the week before or after. In addition, there is a price increase.

Because you have gone other times, I think if you want to experience Disney at this time of the year it will be fine. You can tailor your schedule to hit the must sees and be okay missing an attraction because you have experienced it in the past or you know you will visit it on another trip. For the first time guests, this can make for an even more stressful vacation. Remember to book your Advance Dining Reservations early as you want to have a place to eat.

If you would like an expert opinion on this, visit Mom Panel Erin's questions as she has been before at this time.

    Have a magical vacation!
