Welcome back, Michelle! It is always so wonderful to see you here at planDisney.
Michelle, we recently took a holly jolly Christmastime vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and it was truly one of the best trips that we have ever had. Something about seeing all of the
amazing decor, hearing the hum of holiday music, and indulging ourselves in all the limited-time treats was exactly what my family needed to put us all in the Christmas spirit after a crazy year.
Michelle, in my experience crowds usually pick up around the second half of the month when schools start to release for winter break. Since Christmas decor is usually put up right after Halloween, our family chose to visit the first week of December. The low crowd levels were so wonderful; however, we did have a few chilly days. Keep in mind that we are from Georgia, so our chilly days of a high in the upper 60's may feel like summer to a native Vermonter! We even saw a few lucky families swimming, thanks to the resort's heated pool.
It is my dearest wish that
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party returns this year, however, details have not been released. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the official Social Media channels to be among the first to get the scoop.
Even if Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party has not resumed, you absolutely can not miss a
Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. Our family loves to sample the sweets and drinks from all of the festival booths while our little ones love the Olaf scavenger hunt and learning all about the traditions of each country.
I hope that this helped, Michelle. Please come back here if we can help answer any questions about where to play, stay, or dine on your upcoming vacation.
Happy (very early) Holidays!
Sarah B.
