We are thinking of changing resorts mid stay through our trip. We already have our dining booked for the trip. I was told I have to start a new reservation for the new resort. If I switch resorts, will I loose my dining reservations to make a new one?

Hi, Lisa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you stopped by because I have some great information to share with you. My family has frequently done split stays, beginning our vacation at one Walt Disney World Resort hotel and then swapping over to another magical location to finish out our trip, This has helped us experience more resorts and decide which can make our vacation practically perfect in every way.

When you are ready to make room reservations for your upcoming vacation, simply head to Walt Disney World Resort's home page to search for available resorts based on your travel dates and party size. If you prefer to have some assitance, you can also call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservation phone line. Since you are wanting to stay at multiple resorts, you will need to make a separate resort reservation for each part of your stay. If you have already booked one long vacation at a single resort and are wanting to change that stay while also adding on a stay at a different resort, you may want to just call in and have a Cast Member assist you. No worries about losing those Advance Dining Reservations! In my experience, I have been able to modify and even cancel a resort reservation without having my dining plans also cancel.

Remember to take a look at the available Special Offers to see if one fits your travel dates! These offers come out frequently through the year, so keep checking back if one is not currently available.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and please let us know if you have any other questions.
