Hi Ryan!
My favorite moderate resort is
Port Orleans French Quarter
and one of the main reasons is due to its size.
French Quarter is the
smallest of the moderates, which means that everything is within a quick
walk and does not require a shuttle or bus to get from location to location within the resort. Another asset of
this resort is its incredible New Orleans theme that just envelopes you
in the feel of the "old South". The pool area is quite a fun spot to spend a few hours too!
Perks of this resort (besides being beautiful)
include boat transportation to Downtown Disney, use of the pool and
amenities at Riverside (included since French Quarter and Riverside are
sister resorts), and a great quick service restaurant featuring Beignets
for breakfast! YUM!!
In addition, you may want to consider bringing a stroller or renting a stroller during your stay. It will come in quite handy in parks and at the resort. Kids of all ages and abilities find that Walt Disney World can be quite a bit of walking - the stroller can really help!
Hope this helps! Have a great vacation!
PS. Don't forget to hop a boat to Downtown Disney for a nice
way to send a few quiet moments traveling down the lazy river!
