I am thinking of booking a room (Woods View) in the Wilderness Lodge that has bunk beds and another doulble/queen size beds. Please might I ask the size of the bunk beds? Are they suitable for adults? Thank you

    Hi Gill,

The bunk beds are standard twin sized beds, typically 39" x 75". This is smaller than the beds that most adults are used to sleeping on. As to whether an adult would be comfortable, that really depends on how large the adult is. A five-foot tall, 100 pound woman would likely be fine on the bunks. A six-foot tall, 200 pound man would likely not.

You can try lying on a twin sized bed at any furniture store to gauge whether you think it would work for you.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
