Ahoy there, Genevieve!
Oh my goodness, you're looking to plan a
Disney Cruise Line adventure in just the next few weeks, so let's get right to the answer! We do not want you to be late for a very important date.
I do want to let you know that this type of information can change at any moment, even after you've booked your cruise, so it's important to stay aware of
the most updated information. As of September 2, 2022, guests ages 12 and older are required to be fully vaccinated in accordance with CDC guidance. Although guests 11 and younger are not required to be vaccinated, Disney Cruise Line does recommend vaccination in line with current CDC guidelines.
There is a COVID-19 testing requirement for all guests, Genevieve, so let me give you that breakdown as well. Guests who are not vaccinated, including children, are required to test 1-3 days prior to sailing, uploading negative test results into Safe Passage by midnight prior to boarding. Additionally, unvaccinated guests will be required to take another COVID-19 test at the port before embarking on the
ship.
Vaccinated guests are required to test 1-2 days prior to sailing. Those negative results will also need to be uploaded to Safe Passage by midnight before you sail.
It sounds like this may free you up to start planning for the
amazing activities,
exciting entertainment, and
fabulous food onboard one of the gorgeous Disney Cruise Line ships! And the
activities for children ages 3 and up are, in my opinion, the best at sea.
I hope you get to enjoy the most magical voyage!
Anna
