Was thinking of going to BC in Feb 2012, but now think we will book BWI for the location and food choices. Since BWI is large, what are the "preferred" standard view rooms (closest to lobby)? If we request one, how likely is we will get it?

Hi Sandy! Both the Beach Club and Boardwalk Inn are fantastic choices, and are quite close to each other. If you did decide to stay at the Beach Club, you'd be just a short, five minute walk away from the Boardwalk and all its excitement. Preferred view rooms overlook Crescent Lake and the Boardwalk. You can certainly request a room close to the lobby, and, although not guaranteed, they will do their best to accommodate you. I recommend calling the resort directly at (407) 939-5100 about a week or two before your arrival and make your request.
