Hi Lori!
My family absolutely loves the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) because it saves time, money and stress! There were a few changes made to the 2017 DDP.
The
2017 Quick Service Dining Plan now includes two Quick Service Meals, two snacks and one resort refillable mug per person, per night of stay. The previous plan only included one snack per day, so I think this is a great addition! Another change is that the Quick Service Meals include one entree and one non-alcoholic beverage in 2017. In previous years the meal also included a dessert, but dessert is no longer included in 2017.
If you desire to exchange your Quick Service Credits for Snack Credits, you may ask a Cast Member at the location in which you desire to redeem your credits to make the exchange and you will receive Two Snack Service Credits for one Quick Service Credit (changed from 3 in previous years). You must redeem both Snack Credits at the same location at that time.
For example, if you visit Epcot and stop by
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe. You review their
menu and decide that instead of getting the Norwegian Club, which is a meal on the Quick Service Dining Plan, you would rather have a sweet pretzel with almonds for you and school bread for your kids (yum!). You can simply inform the Cast Member you would like to exchange your QS credits for Snack credits. You can look for the purple snack credit logo to see what items are considered "snacks". I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
