    Hi, do you think that Pop Century will be showing the NFL playoff games on Jan 22nd anywhere in the hotel? We don't want to go to ESPN club (too crowded). If not, is there someplace at Downtown Disney that you would recommend? Thanks GO GIANTS!! :)

    Hi Lisa, I completely understand your concern about not missing this very important game! Even though I'm a Georgia girl, my family loves Eli Manning!  I called the resort to confirm and The Petals Pool Bar located at Disney's Pop Century does indeed have a television. The cast member I spoke with did say that you may need to ask the cast member working at The Petals Pool Bar that day to put the game on for you, but felt that it should not be a problem. ESPN Club, which has over 100 video monitors with satellite feeds, is really the only restaurant on property that is a sure guarantee for viewing the Giants game!  Two other possible options for you guys would be The Tambu Lounge located on the second floor of Disney's Polynesian Resort and The Turf Club Bar & Grill located at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. When we visited Walt Disney World last week, the Tambu Lounge had the NCAA College Bowl games playing on their large screen television. The Tambu Lounge does typically televise major sporting events, and I definitely think the NFL playoff game would qualify!  I would suggest calling the resorts on January 22, 2012 to find out for sure before heading over. The direct line for Disney's Polynesian Resort is (407)824-2000 and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is (407)827-1100.
