Hi Michele, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. Your vacation will be here before you know it, so let’s make sure you have enough room during your stay at
Pop Century Resort!
It’s hard to say for sure if your specific scooters or ECVs will fit in the rooms at Pop Century, but I chatted with a Cast Member to get their take. They said that two ECVs may not fit in a Preferred Room when the Murphy bed is lowered for sleeping. Preferred Rooms aren’t larger than Standard Rooms, but they are closer to Classic Hall, making it convenient to access the bus stops and
Everything POP Shopping & Dining. The Cast Member I spoke to recommended booking an
accessible room, which has more space to accommodate ECVs, thought fitting two might still be a tight fit. To see if you can change your current reservation to an accessible room, I’d suggest calling the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations phone number.
For the future, you can book this room type on the
Disney World website by checking Accessible Rooms when you’re searching the resort hotel availability.
When you get to Pop Century, if you can’t fit both ECVs in the room, I’d recommend stopping by the front desk. A Cast Member would be happy to discuss your options for charging and parking your ECVs overnight.
I also have a stay at Pop Century coming up and can’t wait to ride the
Skyliner to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios! The gondolas also make it easy to visit some of the other Disney Resort hotels, like
Riviera Resort, home to my favorite character breakfast—
Topolino’s Terrace!
All Skyliner stations have a special loading area for guests needing extra time or assistance boarding, including if you’re riding in an ECV. Keep an eye out for that area or ask a Cast Member to point you in the right direction.
I’m wishing you a groovy stay at Pop Century this November! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome at planDisney.
