    Do you think 2021 will be extremely crowded? I heard rumors that some hotels are already booked. We would like to visit for the 50th, but I don't want huge crowds on top of the heat. Thanks

    Hi Nancy,

    Thank you for bringing another vacation question here to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. 2021 is going to be such a magical year at Walt Disney World with the 50th Anniversary Celebration being one of the biggest celebrations to ever take place! The Disney Parks Blog announced some exciting details about the guest offerings coming to Walt Disney World for the 50th Anniversary and beyond. There will be new entertainment, food and beverage, merchandise, and incredible new attraction openings. Many of the details will be a surprise, so I highly recommend that you go ahead and call (407) 939-1936 to book a “room only” resort stay for 2021, as you can make those reservations as early as 500 days in advance. You can upgrade this reservation to a vacation package at a later date, once vacation packages and special offers are released. The official anniversary date is October 1st, 2021, but the celebrations will likely begin well before and continue well after, giving you plenty of opportunities to visit during whatever season in 2021 suits you best.
