Ahoy, Melissa!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I have a feeling your boys are going to be spending a lot of time on
Goofy's Sports Deck on your Disney Cruise Line vacation. It's always one of my son's go-to spots when we sail with Captain Mickey. He enjoys playing basketball and dodge ball on the sports court and beating me at Goofy Golf! And if it's not too windy, ping-pong and foosball are fun too! The Sport Simulators are also located on Goofy's Sports Deck and do require a reservation and nominal fee. Your husband should not have a problem bringing both boys in during your window. My husband and son have experienced it before and did not have a problem taking turns, but it can get hot in this space, so you'll want to plan for that.
Melissa, your boys are great ages to experience everything a Disney Cruise Line vacation offers. Once you're aboard the ship, I recommend taking them to the
Oceaneer Club and Lab to explore this imaginatively themed area together. This is a wonderful opportunity to take photos of them there and ask the youth counselors any questions you may have about the programming. My son's all-time favorite activities are GAGA Ball, the Piston Cup Challenge, Magic PlayFloor and Super Sloppy Science. If your boys are Star Wars fans, be sure to be on the lookout for Jedi Training: Experience the Force in the cruise newsletter. This newsletter will be your guide to all the ship's happenings every day along with the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
It was a pleasure assisting you with your question, Melissa. Please sail back over to "sea" us if we can help you further with your magical plans.
Nancy
