What do you think is the best place for a family of four to view illuminations at EPCOT and when should we get there? My two little ones are 7 and 4 and are planning on going to EPCOT on 12/20.

    Hi Floyd,

What an amazing treat just before the holidays, to spend time at Disney World with your children. Almost any location around the World Showcase lagoon will offer a perfect view of Illuminations. The most important thing is to try and situate yourself in an area without numerous trees directly overhead so you will have a clear view of the fireworks portion.

Our favorite place to watch is on the bridge in between England and France. The bridge offers a clear, unobstructed view of both the ground and fireworks portion of the show. A few other locations we enjoy include the upstairs walkway along the Teppan Edo restaraunt in Japan, and near America. Be sure to pick your spot early as many of the prime spots fill up 30-45 minutes before the show begins.

    Enjoy!
