What do you think is the best character dining at the WDW Resort 2008? Do you have any favorites and when is the last time you did a character breakfast, lunch or dinner?

    Hi Kristi!

My family and I LOVE character meals, and it's not uncommon for us to eat at a different one on every day of our vacation!  I think we've pretty much tried them all at one point or another.

I'm not sure if you are looking for the 'best' as far as character interaction, or best food.  I have a few different bests!  :)

    • Best opportunity to see many princesses without standing in line - Akershus in Epcot (Norway).  There are usually half a dozen or so princess there and my daughters are in heaven.
    • Best place to see the classic Disney characters and have a lot of fun - Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary resort.  Good food morning or night, and a great place to have a birthday party.
    • Best meal for entertaining your kids while you dine - Hollywood & Vine (Disney's Hollywood Studios)  The character sing, dance, and play games periodically, inviting all the kids to join in on the fun.  My girls did NOT want to leave!
    • Best food in a laid-back, un-hurried atmosphere - 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian Resort.  Breakfast or dinner either one, this restaurant has great food, beautiful atmosphere, and very fun and lively characters with great interaction. Love, love, love it here!

Our last family trip was in September and October of 2007, and we dined at all of the above plus several others.

I hope this might help you find a character meal that your family will love!
