Are there things on board or at the ports that would require us (my family of 4), to take ALL of our Key to the World cards with us out of the stateroom. Or is one card enough (provided kids don't have charging privileges and/or everyone's together)?

    Hi Pam, welcome aboard!

As you disembark the ship in any port, every guest must have their own Key to the World Card in hand. This is your "ticket" to get on and off the ship. As you exit, a Cast Member will scan the card, and will do the same as you get back onboard later.

Around the ship, though, as long as the adults in your family have their cards, there is no real reason for your young children with no charging privileges to keep their Key to the World cards with them. In fact, I usually carry both my kids cards and my card together, and my husband has his card. My kids are five and seven. I don't give them charging privileges and they cannot check themselves out of the clubs, so when they're not in the clubs they are with either my husband or myself. I guess we could actually leave the cards in the room as well, but I tend to keep them all together in one place so I don't forget them!

You might consider having your passports with you as you disembark the ship in port, too, Pam. We like the security of knowing we have them handy should an emergency come up that would prevent us from getting back to the ship on time.

I hope that helps as you plan your cruise with Disney, Pam! Let me know what other questions you might have!
